or the people who are still reading our adoption blog ;) Are there any??? I've been such a TERRIBLE blogger!!!
But - to be fair - we were asked not to share details about our adoption or our "prospective adoptive child" on our blogs due to Pipsqueak's country tightening up security on their children, and the children ARE theirs until the 20 day appeal period after the final court (2nd court) is completed....
But - we are WELL past the 20 day appeal period - okay - only 9 days - but that is past :) and according to her country, she is now legally ours - yayyyyy!!!!!
We will be traveling back, with Pipsqueak, Princess and Littlest Dude in December to finish up the US side of things and then not only will she legally be ours, she will be an official US citizen!!! Yayyyyyy!!!
We are sooooo grateful to everyone who made it possible to bring her home to our family. We feel so incredibly blessed. She is an amazing and very special little girl - and we feel so humbled that the Lord led us to her and helped - through so many, MANY of His children, to bring her home to our forever family. We love her so much :)
Sooooo - here she is - our newest family member - Little Miss Pipsqueak!!!! She is beautiful and spunky and wonderful and amazing!! We LOVE her!!!!

We're still here.........
and busy as can be!!!
We've done the rounds with Pipsqueak's specialists, I've had my gall bladder out (unexpectedly), sent the Rocket Scientist off on a two year church service mission - to Eastern Europe ;) and generally just been bonding, attaching, and blending as a family!!!
So many adventures and pictures to share - and in 8 days - I can!!!!
The Dad completed our 2nd trip to EE and our final court and in 8 days the appeal period will be over and according to Pipsqueak's country she is legally and forever ours!!! We just have one more trip to do the American side of things and then our adoption will be complete!!!
Things are going well, everyone is adjusting. We tweak things here and there. Some days are harder than others. But - the joy and happiness this cute girl brings into our home is worth all the hard days - we love her to pieces!! Some days it seems like she has always been here, some days it feels like we are just starting this journey :)
But through it all, we are soooo grateful to have her in our family. She is a blessing to us - she teaches us things we couldn't have learned if she had not joined us. She blesses us and we love her.
She is learning and growing (developmentally and physically :) - meeting new milestones - gaining new words - gaining confidence - understanding that she is loved - learning what a family is and who she belongs with :) Her giggles and hugs and kisses brighten our days - Littlest Dude loves her the mostest. Ask him who his favorite is? Yup - the Princess has been replaced - Pipsqueak wins every time :)
